12/14/2023 0 Comments Terraria class guide 1.3![]() ![]() Rogue - The rogue class is a brand new class created by the Calamity mod that generally consists of thrown weapons. ![]() Summon weapons can be used in conjunction with other classes, however the player must take note of summoning weapons' frequent conflicts with Immunity frames and Calamity's minion damage nerf when holding other weapons. Summoner - The summoning class is good at dealing with multiple threats, but most summoner armors have low defense, and minions are often inaccurate against enemies that move very quickly. Mages must craft or purchase mana potions if they wish to use high-mana cost weapons for extended periods of time. It is held back by reliance on mana, which regenerates very slowly unless the Mana Regeneration buff is in effect. Mage - The magic class is fragile but highly varied in attack style, often utilizing special mechanics such as homing and area-of-effect damage. Ranged users must gather materials to craft ammunition, but this is not a significant drawback. Ranger - The ranged class is a powerful bossing class with very high single-target damage output, and can attack from a long range. Melee - The melee class sports the highest defense on average and decent crowd control, but many melee weapons have short attack range, and those that do attack from a distance tend to have below-average DPS. This is a guide that will show potential weapon and equipment builds for each of the five classes at various points in the game's progression. Calamity also adds many difficult boss encounters and other situations in which class builds should be optimized in order to efficiently succeed. The Calamity Mod adds a plethora of new weapons and equipment for all classes, including its new rogue class, to use throughout the game. This guide was last updated for version 2.0.0.002. On the contrary, minions that hit rapidly with low base damage such as Enchanted Daggers and UFOs pair poorly with this whip. This means the page will walk you through a specific task, strategy, or enemy/ boss fight. It is particularly effective when paired with the Desert Tiger Staff, Abigail's Flower or the Stardust Dragon Staff, due to their unique ability to increase minion damage based on the number of slots invested in them. Because the Firecracker's effect multiplies damage dealt instead of giving an additive tag damage increase, it works best with minions that have high base damage. This weapon produces light when swung, making it helpful for revealing caves and ores through walls. It pairs well with other whips that temporarily increase melee speed on hit, such as Snapthorn and Durendal, as higher attack speed means it can re-apply its tag more often.Due to its unique tag multiplier effect, the whip can remain viable even after Moon Lord has been defeated. However, due to its relatively low range and summoners' generally poor defense, it will require more skill on dodging attacks to use it as a main weapon. via Titan Glove upgrades, this whip can achieve very high DPS with most minions. This makes it more potent than the Cool Whip when actively attacking, but unlike the Spinal Tap or Snapthorn, it does not provide lingering damage bonuses. Its effect is very different from the other two whips, as it scales with the minion's base damage and its own attack speed rather than the attack speed of the minion. Like the Cool Whip and Dark Harvest, the Firecracker forgoes summon tag damage for a special on-hit effect. The Firecracker's explosion effect cannot be triggered on enemies that are immune to all debuffs, such as The Destroyer and the Flying Dutchman. The explosion does not damage multiple enemies. The explosion will not repeat itself until the enemy is struck again. When a minion attacks an enemy marked by the Firecracker, a small explosion will occur, and the enemy takes 2.75 times the damage from the minion's attack. It also inflicts the Hellfire debuff to all targets. Like other whips, it causes minions to focus on the last-struck enemy. The Firecracker is a Hardmode whip that is dropped by the Wall of Flesh with a 12.5*1/8 (12.5%) / 25*1/4 (25%) chance. The Firecracker attacking Target Dummies.
